Write with the chord track

Step by step

1. 01

   Add an Instrument track and select it.

   Choose Project → Chord Track. A thin Chord lane appears above your tracks.

   Click the empty lane to add a chord — you’ll hear it, and a block appears.

4. 04

   Use the chord’s menus to pick its root and quality, for example A and Minor for “Am”.

   Drag a chord left or right to move it in beat-sized steps; Option-click to delete it.
