Set the tempo from an audio clip

Step by step

1. 01

   Select an audio clip in the arrange view.

   Choose Project → Set Project Tempo from Selected Clip to set the fixed tempo from it.

   For a recording made without a click, choose Project → Tempo Track from Selected Clip to build a tempo track that follows its beats.

   You can also right-click the clip and use Detect Tempo, where Set Clip Tempo tells Oxtave the clip's own tempo.
