Add fades and set clip gain

Step by step

1. 01

   With the Select tool, drag the fade handles at the start and end of a clip.

   In the Inspector's Clips section, set Fade In and Fade Out lengths and choose Linear, Exponential, Logarithmic or Equal Power.

   Set the clip's Gain in dB; double-click the control to reset it to 0 dB.

4. 04

   Select overlapping clips and press X to crossfade them.
