Fix clicks and dropouts

Step by step

   Watch the DSP meter in the transport bar and the Overloads count in the status bar.

   Raise the Buffer size in Audio Settings: 64–256 samples for recording, 512–2048 for mixing.

   Freeze tracks with heavy plugins from the channel strip in the Mixer, or bypass plugins you don't need.

   Close other demanding apps and plug your laptop into power.

5. 05

   If Disk underruns appear, keep the project on a fast internal or SSD drive.
