Freeze a track to save CPU

Step by step

1. 01

   Open the mixer and find the track's strip.

2. 02

   Click Freeze at the foot of the strip to render its inserts and instrument to audio.

3. 03

   Remember that a frozen track's inserts can't be edited.

4. 04

   Click Frozen to unfreeze when you need to make changes.
