Hit a loudness target

Step by step

1. 01

   In the Export Audio dialog, set Normalize to a preset such as Streaming (-14 LUFS), Apple Music, Broadcast EBU R128 or Podcast.

   Choose Custom if you need any value from -36 to -6 LUFS.

   Turn on Keep true peak below the ceiling and set the Ceiling (default -1 dBTP).

4. 04

   Export, then read each file's report to see the gain that was applied.

5. 05

   If the report says Gain (peak-limited) and you need to be louder, add a limiter on the master and export again.
