Turn off animated transitions and pick the language for the app's menus.

Step by step

Choose Oxtave → Preferences….

Turn on Reduce motion to turn off animations such as sliding panels and smooth scrolling.

Oxtave also follows macOS's own setting in System Settings → Accessibility → Display → Reduce motion.

Pick a Language to change the app's text and menus.
