Set up your audio device

Step by step

1. 01

   Choose Oxtave → Audio Settings… (⌘,), or click the gear button at the right end of the transport bar.

   Under Output, choose the Device, Sample rate and Buffer size.

   Under Input, turn on audio input and choose the Input device if you want to record or monitor.

4. 04

   Use Test Tone, or press ⌥T, to confirm that sound reaches your speakers.

5. 05

   Keep the project and the device at the same sample rate; the status bar warns you if they differ.
