Duck a bass under the kick
Feed an effect's sidechain from another track so one sound ducks under another.

Step by step
- 01
Add an effect with a sidechain input to the track you want to duck, such as the bass.

Open the insert's options menu and choose Sidechain.
- 03
Pick the source track, such as the kick.
- 04
If Sidechain is greyed out, that effect has no sidechain input.
