Program a beat with the step sequencer

Step by step

1. 01

   Select an instrument or MIDI track and choose MIDI → Step Sequencer.

   Click Pattern to add a pattern and give it a name.

   Choose the Resolution and Length, and set Swing.

4. 04

   Add lanes with Lane pitch, then click steps to turn them on.

5. 05

   Select a step to set its Vel, Gate, Prob and Offset.

6. 06

   Click Insert part to place a MIDI part that plays the pattern at the playhead.
