Follow a drum machine's MIDI clock

Lock Oxtave's transport and tempo to an external device sending MIDI clock.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Choose Oxtave → Sync & Remote Control… and open the Sync tab.

  2. 02

    Set Transport follows to MIDI Clock.

  3. 03

    Choose the Sync input your device is connected to.

  4. 04

    Turn on Follow the incoming tempo for projects that use a fixed tempo.

  5. 05

    Wait for the status line to show Locked, then click Close.
