Move, copy and trim clips

Step by step

1. 01

   Click a clip to select it; ⇧-click or ⌘-click to add more.

2. 02

   Drag a clip to move it, including onto another track.

3. 03

   Hold ⌥ while dragging to copy instead of move.

4. 04

   Drag the left or right edge of a clip to trim it.

5. 05

   Press ⌥← or ⌥→ to nudge the selection by one grid step, or press 3 for the Split tool and click to split a clip.
