Play your own sounds with the Sampler

Step by step

1. 01

   On an Instrument track, open the Instrument tab at the bottom and choose Sampler.

   Click Add samples… and pick a short audio file. It spans the whole keyboard.

   Play notes: higher keys play it higher, lower keys lower.

4. 04

   Drag several files onto the Samples box to give each one its own key — handy for drum hits.

5. 05

   Fine-tune each sample’s root key, key range, velocity range and round-robin group in its row.
